Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of getting some fiber glass group 5 euro's to cover my 7x13s. I have no idea how is best to fit them. I would like to bond them on for a smoother look but I wondered how easy/hard this is and what is involved?

Thanks in advance

Matt

hi matt

i smoothed on my sportspack arches, its actually pretty simple to do just takes a wee bit of time- i bolted on my arches then layered up fibreglass onto the body to give it strength, sanded that back until it was smooth and feathered it back into the body work and arch to smooth it out. then i curved a corner on a body filler spreader to aid in keeping a smooth curve when applying body filler, applied that then sanded the excess off until i was left with a decent finish :D

Thanks for your advice afoggo. Much appreciated. I think yours looks great and you've got a great finish. I've actually decided to just attach the arches as i want to paint the arches black to contrast my white mini. So i'll be fixing them on with srews or bolts etc when i finally get them. Your pics were a great help also and you have helped me come to my decision.

Thanks again ^_^
