does anyone know how to identify a mk 1 baulk ring gearbox as against the old type with bronze synchro
my car 1961 mk 1 mini

Case numbers for type 1 ( cone ) gearboxes...

22A104 / 22A363

However, they could have been converted to run a type 2 ( Baulkring ) 3 synchro gearset..

Only way to be sure is to remove the engine from the box and look for the baulkrings.
