Pressure Testing Heater Matrix

I was thinking of using an old bike inner tube and pump, if that will work?
As if it’s only a small leak, I’ll see if I can run something through the matrix and plug it up with something.

Also cleaned the matrix out really well, it actually works now and makes the car too hot

just replace it if you can afford to, i had the same problem, basicly the matrix had been on the car for so long it was rusting from the inside out. i filled one hole and it was fine for a while, then it broke again 3 weeks later and then again a month later. i just filled it untill i had used all the stuff i had and then changed it for another, cost 29 ish or something

I'm pretty sure we just used a hose, with a finger over the other tube. Managed to find the leak and used some epoxy stuff, unsure what it was now. We were lucky though as the leak was on one of the end pipes, rather than in the middle.

I didn’t bother pressure testing it in the end, I didn’t need to.
I filled it up and left it, these was defiantly a leak, but I could see from were. So poked around at the foam still left on the end with the u shaped bits and it pretty much emptied it’s self.
Unfortunately I can’t afford a new one, so a temporary fix will have to do. I’ve got some araldite chemical metal left over from fixing some pin holes/oil leak in the gearbox casing (yep work that one out) would that work?

But does anyone have any old/spare hoses the same as the one on the far right of the pick?
