Im trying to find an air filter for the mini, but i cant for the life of me remember what size the carb is.
She is a bog standard 998, what size carb?
1. 1/4 or 1. 1/2 inch?

Best to measure it to be sure - 1 1/4 HS2's have the manifold bolt holes at 6 'n 12 o'clock, 1 1/2 HS4's are more like 2 'n 7 or is it 11 'n 5 ????

is it the back that needs measuring, where the bowel sits on the carb?

Either end - it's the same, just measure the diameter of big 'ole.

Almost positive it'll be a 1 1/2" HS4.
