What would you recommend for a 73 pick up with external hinges and sliding windows?

What i would suggest is the Silver Package. For full spec of the alarm please visit the website.

We have fitted central locking kits to vehicles with that style of door handle but it does take a bit of work. (If im right in thinking at that age it was the door handle that locked not the door itself? We are working on a kit at the moment to make fitting central locking to early minis a DIY job.

Hope ive helped.

The kits are currently being fettled in our workshop and tested etc.

There are currently two mk's that we are trying. We are hoping to have them finished and ready for manufacture in the next month. Then it is just a case of waiting for the manufacturer to get them back to us.

I would guess they will be ready for retail January / February

We can get you up and running with our Silver package for now and simply upgrade you at the time if you want the security sooner.

Hi there,

I have a MPi Cooper how does your alarm work with the standard alarm and immobiliser. If it does work with the original system how difficult is it to integrate it into the original system. If not how big a job is it to remove the original alarm and immobiliser.

Thanks

Martin.

Hello,

That is a very good question. I will answer it to the fullest of my knowledge, if you need further details then i will get our technician to write me a reply later on.

With all the functionality of the new system we would recommend replacing the original with the new system. The original alarm and immobilisers are not very advanced by todays standards and would only limit the features our new system could use.

The new system has been designed with classic cars in mind so that you do not need to drill holes for sensors etc.

I will PM you from now on to discuss the alarm system as its probably not best to discuss on the main forum

Rob
