Time to start thinking about selling up. Had some good times with this car, but its time for a change.

Car has had extensive lightening as some of you may know. What is it worth a a bare rolling shell?. Subframes, glass, no brakes, standard steels, FG front but no aerocatches, and no doors.

Just a rough guide would be cool then I can list it within the next few days.

Would need a scuttle panel + flitch repair to be called 100% solid. Not really a major job.

Thanks.

Let this be a lesson to all you A-series quitters..........it starts with a vaux conversion and ends with you selling your mini............you HAVE been warned!!

Heh heh heh!!

I think you know what you've gotta do to sell that Tom.........its a breaker!!

As the car looks it will only sell to a very small market, the shell mods and the way it looks won't have buyers reaching for their cheque books either.

If you can't be bothered with it now can you see yourself sticking a scuttle on it and painting it(in winter)? (If you do then you'll just end up keeping it)

Keep the car, flog the (cursed) minus, buy a cheap runaround and job done!!

What else have you done to lighten it apart from cutting holes everywhere and removing the front? Will it have a full cage in it to add some strength in to it? I would be a little concerned about holes bored in to structural parts of the body shell (ie inner sills and crossmember).

It's gotta go :-. Been playing with the idea of getting rid for a while, but it really has to go this time. If it will sell with a new scuttle panel and a spray job then I'll do it. Don't really want to break it obviously, but if needs must......

Too much to list in here sensibly, but it's all listed in my project thread. It won't have a cage. Fair enough with your opinion, but mine is that nothing has drastically altered the structural integrity of the car. Even MPI minis have holes in the sill, they just have grommets in.

Dammit! I'm Miniless now and have just commited to buying a 2.0 redtop Nova trackday car, this would've been ideal and I would've been able to stay in with the Minis!

Hmm, I'd say around the £1500-£1800 mark

Swap? :-

If I could get 1500 as is then I'll sell. But If it doesn't go for that much I think I'd rather use the parts on the minus, and sell it as a rolling shell. Don't want to give the car away, but I don't want to keep it either!!

I'd have said around the £1200 mark, maybe a bit more to the right buyer.

Probably about right. Any more if I was to sort the few problems out? Scuttle, doors, bootlid and spray?. I mean would it actually be beneficial financially!
