Just found that my Red Rover Mini has been nicked from Lyon Street Dundee.

Could anyone from Dundee / anywhere keep their eyes open??

Jes. Mental day.

Spent the entire day posting leaflets through everydoor on the road that it was taken - and in the shops pubs etc nearby.

Got the car back - it was on one of the dodgiest roads in Dundee.

Damage:
- steering column damaged
- key tumbler / ignition ripped to pieces (only a screwdriver starts the car now)
- general wiring behind cd player
- driverside carlock damaged - needs replacing

Missing:
- Cd player (without face )
- 1/3 tank of petrol
- odds and sodds
- tax disk

The car overall is intact. Literally a gumtree ad that saved it - anonymous tip off

Well done you!

Pleased that you got it back, it's unfathomable why someone would cause that much damage and grief for next to no gain. I suppose you can count your blessings it wasn't torched.
