hi all
when i parked my spi cooper up at work this morning i got out an noticed that the brake lights were still on. i looked back in the car and the switch on the switch panel was illuminated too. i disconnected the switch and they went off. anyone no why?
i think it could be the switch plying up but wondered if theres any other problem.
cheers callum

There isn't any electrical connection between the stop lights and brake failure circuit & the stop lights shouldn't be live if the ignition is off. All I can think is that broken wire is shorting on the brake cylinder and somehow running to earth through the rear lights via the stop light switch.
