Right i'm currently looking for a mini for my first car, I want a Austin 998. (cheaper for insurance)
I have a mini city in my garage which is for a restoration, but i'm wanting a mini now for my first car.
So basically i want advice on what to look for and what to avoid etc etc. (all advice is helpful, even if it's something little or obvious)
Also.. I'm located in the derbyshire area so if anyone knows of any Mini's for sale in my location or not to far away.

I really need help as i'm still learning about minis and it's always good to find out something new.

:D

First thing to look for is decent bodywork... It's a lot cheaper/easier to replace mechanical parts then have bodywork repaired (generally speaking).

Take your time, have a good look around and don't rush into buying anything!
