Driving onto wood everytime is getting annoying for me.

But is cheaper than one of those.

I have one of these, just make sure you use it on dead level ground and smooth ground so it can run on its wheels. or they do bend lol trust me..........

Plus every now and then double check all the bolts are tight lol i have taken all mine out and thread locked them as had a couple come undone here and there.

Apart from that there a good handy jack, even more so when you car is very low like my clubby.

mini geek do you have that exact one or are you just refering to ally jacks? Iv used ally jacks before with no problems (other than the handle being knurled too much and grinding at my palm :D )

x2 on the bolts mine all ratteld loose so threadlocked most of them. I would realy recomend doing this.

Mine dosent bend tho, good jack altho i should have got something more heviy duty as its crap on anything thats not a mini/relativly small.

One thing i would coment on is how far down the handel goes before it begins to pump. I wish id got one of the blue point fast double pump ones that people who i service for when they go rallying with use.

Also you should never jack up on un even ground any way, allways have the hand brake off when jacking. And dont trust the jack to suport a car use axel stands, or big blocks of rail way sleepers cut up and the jack as procution.

I'm forever using my Dad's ally jack, but it's a branded one so can't comment on the machine mart jacks!

trolly jacks will lower themselves over time, use them to lift a car and axle stands to keep a car up, never go under a car on a jack alone (i knnow we all do but hey)
