Right well done some small bits.
Fitted the battery cables. I just need to finish fitting the cable to the bottom of the car.

Having an issue with the boot lid seal I cant shut the boot at all when its on. I no they are normally an ass when they are new but this one is taking the mick!
And for no reason a pic of the pair of them.

Also on a random note. Anyone know what size screws/bolts I need to hold the boot lid light on?
Cheers!

Yea my clubby does about 50 miles a day since I got my new job. Not for long though. MOT runs out end of the month and she needs a few bits sorting so I'm hoping to be picking up a Mondeo soon. She will have a fresh MOT for new years day though as there a local car show I like going to then and she will go back in to daily use once the cold weather has gone and they have stopped salting the roads. Then next winter she will get some new panels and a respray. Thats the plan anyway. Just trying to keep her on the road with the minim cost and time as want to get this one finished.

Once you get a modern car you'll never want a Mini as a daily again! Especially if Mondeo has heated front screen.. ![]()

Sounds like a fair enough point mate, I had my mini mini sidewalk on the road 12/13 and just taken her off for some panels and respray, she did 18k in one year not bad going, so she needs some loving now. I have a mk4 golf estate now as a daily its good but no mini lol so need the mini back my plan its to have ther again as a runer and not use the golf so much and also aquire a clubman at some point lol hope all the plans work out mate, p.s let me no if the clubby ever comes up for sale.....

Pretty much does to be honest but with some brake and fuel lines roughly in place and a few other parts cleaned up.

Still need to wire brush down that rusty bit between the new pipes on the subframe.

And wire brushing is a crap job but does make a different as you can sell.

All those bits are cleaned now and gave them a coat of black paint.

My mate picked up the last brakelines I need today from mini spare so hoping to have it rolling soon! I am giving my seats to retro retrims and Bingley and hopefully Sam will help me with the hear box soon so things should really start to move along. Also have the last 2 weeks of march off so I can bust a groove with this!
