Right! I got these a few days ago now a mate picked them up from minispares for me. Which is the last of the brakes bits I think other then s a T piece that mini spares don't have in stock at the moment.

 

 

Tower bolts got painted.

 

 

Had some old adjustable suspension in the garage so gave it a clean up and a lick of paint ready to go on.

 

 

This is half of one tie bar done!

 

 

Painted!

 

 

 

Also did a bottom arm.

 

 

Other bottom arm I have just given a cost of paint and I was struggling to get the bit that joins on to the bottom arm off the other tie bar but just managed it so thats not been painted yet I'll do that one in the morning.

Cheers! I'm really pleased with it. Had a few comments on how well it's come out. Not bad for a cheap can of stone chip paint from the local motor factors ha!

Did a few more bits today and finished off the painting!

 

All the suspension bits I started are done and painted!

 

 

 

 

The next bits I started wiring brushing! Still need more doing.

 

 

 

Bought a can of this for the cylinders after a few good reviews on here! Hope its as good as everyone says.

 

 

 

Thats about it for now. Out for a mates Birthday tonight and back to work 2moz for 6 days straight so back to slow progress. Hoping there will be a nice lot of pics of new parts after Bingley.

Bought this today! 1275 MG metro engine.

 

 

Gonna give it a clean and lick of paint. I will get the 1293 in one day but this will speed up getting everything together. Also means I can do also a few other things I want to do the that engine before it goes in :)

 

BMC green engine paint on my shopping list for Bingley!

I have 2 the other 2 mini mad Craig as for me in Kent. Need to go and pick them and all the other bits of mine I seem to be storing there haha.

Yes! They are going 'beaver brown' with cream stitching. Mr Retro Retrims him self was very nice and bought me loads of different browns to choose from but this one looked the nicest. Had my choice backed up my a fashionable looking female and Craig as the token gay guy so pretty sure it was the right choice haha.

So yesterday was a good day!

 

I got the front subframe fitted in!

 

 

I did some messing around the a wheels I had in the garage.

 

 

Then in the afternoon I went up and picked up these bad boys.

 

 

 

Love them so much! Been an expensive month haha. So waiting for my next payday and I'll go get some rubber put on them!
