Only a standard 1275 metro engine so just gonna keep a standard pump in for now as its easier and less messing around. When the race engine goes in at a later date I will up rate it then I just want to get it on the road!

Right so today Ross came over again as well as a couple of my other mates.
Day started like this!

and then

yay

We had a right night mare getting the subframe engine mounts to line up but we got there!
With that done everyone went home and I just plonked a few bits on.
Horn I tucked down the bottom of the wing.

Speedo in!

I really need to get a nice wooden wheels to go in!

Alternator on although I painted the left hand side bracket so I'm letting that dry and I'll get that on 2moz.

I also got the exhaust manifold on but I can't get the inlet manifold to fit with it so I am not sure if I need a different one but thats something I can sort.
went to fit the rad although I found out I am missing the rubber bush bits that fit in here.

I knew there would be something I was missing haha. So I need to see if I can find one the of the bolts in my garage and order the rubber bits.
Other issue I found i the engine if left in gear so when I went to roll it back down the drive tonight I couldn't haha. I'll sort that out 2moz.
Again massive thanks to everyone that helped! I think that is it for now!
Ta.

John; I have a HIF inlet manifold, and some HS2's, if you need to try some for size.

Right so first up I picked this up on the way home from work.

Really pleased with this!
Looks the part!

Then carried on with the engine.
Finished fitting the alternator and got the fan belt on, fitted the engine steadies fitted the gear selector.

I also found this on the garage.

Means I can get the rad in!
Gave the cowling a lick on paint.

Got the handles on!

Found this braided pipe in the garage with was a result!

Wired in the horn and tucked it all up so its neat.

I think that ia pretty much it for today. Again massive thanks to Ross and all my other mates that came over and helped.
Cheers.
