Right well I got the car back from Sam a while ago now. I forgot to keep this updated. I know has working brake all bleed and ready to go!

My slave cylinder was fudged lucky Sam had one which he fitted for me. I'll give it a wire brush and a lick of paint soon when its a bit warmer for painting.

Don't think it will be making Brooklands now as there is still so much to do but I'll keep plodding away with it. Hopefully I can get it in the body shop for some fresh paint towards the end of next month.
I'm hoping to pick up a carpet and a few gauges for it at Bingley as well as a few other parts I need. I'v just bought myself a Commer Camper van as well which is taken up my funds but I'm having the work done to that by someone else. I'll pick that up at the end of March so I need to get as much of this done before that gets home and distracts me haha.

Went to Brooklands today, pretty rubbish show to be honest which was a shame.
Didn't get any bits I needed but spend my Birthday money on a steering wheel

Then spend the afternoon fiddling with the mini with the help of Rusty, Ross and Dan.

Got a few odds and sods done, worked out my door lock the driver side wasn't work cause the spring broke, wired up the tail lights and number plate lights, been trying to get it to run, its turning over and trying to fire, it did the most awesome back fire that scared the crap out me and Dan and popped a 4 foots flame out the Manifold ha.
Fingers crossed weather stays good this weekend and can do stuff this week.

That steering wheel is nice man! Good to see you back on the Mini again. ![]()
by the way, I still have your tub of brake fluid!
Let me know if you find one of these and the 2 washers in your kit, I had to borrow one off the sports pack for your car. ![]()

I had some hefty backfires, keep moving the leads round one position till it fires! (worked for me anyway, it was 90 deg out)

I'd imagine that's probably all it is, something fairly simple at least! I didnt do the previous wiring though, so I'm not sure about that!

So Mike very kindly picked up my rev counter from Mini Spares for me which means I have all the gauges and can sort out wiring them up, Still need to get a holder for all of them but heres the rough plan.
