- Ditch the intro page, it won't do you any favours both from a usability point of view and SEO.
- When there are no adverts in a category, show a message saying so.. maybe use it as an upsell to get people to add an advert to that category.
- In category pages, make the thumbnail click through to the advert page, this is where most users will click
Keep it up and I hope it does well!
ETA: Also take a look at your title tags, add some more search friendly phrases in there. May be worth installing All In One SEO Pack.

Great to see you didn't give up! A few suggestions from someone who does this as a living...

Thankyou for the good ideas especially the all in one SEO pack

and Mini Adam yes the website is like the for sale section here, but i think there could be some benifit in having a dedicated site, instead of various forums and ebay...etc. I am also aware i need something to set the site apart, some unique selling point, i just haven't figured out what that could be yet (could do with having a decent hook up with somone, or some clothing and accessories...etc....)
On that note does anyone have a decent high quality picture of there mini they would like to represent the website and be offered as a wallpaper (free of course)
