After just over two years of signing on, applying for jobs and getting nowhere today I finally clinched the deal and scored a job! To say I am over the moon is an understatement. No more days of boredom, a decent wage coming in and I can finally stick two fingers up to the job centre. Wooooohoooooo!!!!!!!

Just forklift driving in a food wholesalers. To be honest I dont care what it is, just glad the boredom every day has finally come to an end.

well done to you for getting a job but 2 years poor you i have been out of work for a month and im totally bored just applying for anything i just want to work i handed out 10 c.v's today and will be handing more out tomorrow its just sole destroying when you hear nothing back but need to hang in there or my mini will never be back on the road

Cheers for all the replies everyone. People look at me as if I am mad when i tell them its not so much the lack of money that bothers me it is the
boredom. Having nothing to do day after day after day but thankfully now, that has all come to an end. Poor Mini will be pressed into daily service for a while. Well, until I have got the funds to buy another one anyway hehehe.

Oh yeah, and GOOD LUCK Stevee. Ill keep them crossed for you mate.

and yeah but mini dose need a good run now and again can't leave it in a garage doing nothing for years thats just boring!

i agree with you to be honest its just so boring and you have been unemployed loads longer than me so it must be even worse
