tried winff but it doesnt seem to work

Well ISO is an image file format, not a video file format.

You need to mount the image and then use some software to rip it to AVI.

Of course, I assume this image file is a backup of one of your own disks :)

is ok now i got two pieces of free software thats allows me to convert my holiday dvd's to avi :dontgetit:
