They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old, Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn, At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them. Lest we forget

Rest in Peace. A shame some forum members were still posting during the silence.

I agree there is no respect
Also 11 11 11 is not just about people who have died fighting for this country its for everyone who have lost there lives in conflict, its actually a national holiday in France and Belgium, armistice day commemorates the armistice between the allies and germany in ww1.
The sales of the poppy by the RBL goes to help people and families of service men and women who have been killed or injured if anyone did not know that.
Not trying to ram info down peoples throats but it seems that no-one knows or respects armistice day, in town today at 11 while the poppys were being laid loads of people were walking though the parade shouting and talking very disrespectfull

Rest in peace to all the fallen.
Some people don't care about these things until it hits you with one of your mates dying, i have always had respect for this and even more so being one of them people who did lose a mate.

rest in peace to all that have given their lives for the country!
the armed forces have my greatest respect, not just those from the world wars but current serving soldiers! i know i couldnt do the job that they do, so huge respect to those that do!
i think more respect should be shown to the people who were actually fighting in the world wars and they should be treated like royalty, not have yobs throw abuse and treat them like something they stepped in!
