as for bonnet it has a hole in it for the plenum to poke through, it would fit easily with a standard height shell, or with differnet carbs/tilted over

Also my dad has a 60s sprint so would have been nice to see all three together.
How much does it cost for him to sprint a mini shell with a clubman front?

Saw this at castle combe and was parked near it. Wanted to get next to it for a couple of pictures as it's a sprint clubman with an r1? And mines a normal clubman with an r1.

that would have been a great photo oportunity indeed!
he can convert a your good shell to sprint spec for £2k approx, obviously if the shell is not so good it will require that work first and obviously would affect the final cost.
it is worth pinting out it did originally have a round front but due to fitting the engine in such a low bonnet line it was easier to use the clubman front.

Is this a new build or was it based on the red one that had bits nicked off it?

yes this is a new build, the red one was a spaceframe car, where this one is more conventional with a normal steel floor pan abd bulkhead.

that's very interesting and somthing I'll consider.
I would rather have a clubman front anyway.
That's what made me notice it in the first place the fact it was a sprint clubman.
As I've always said to my dad I'd like one of those.
Can you pm me his number so I can talk to him.
