I have removed it all to check my rear end after a prang all seems well. before I put it back in want to do it good so its fixed well etc.
I have board that basically sits on top of spare wheel, and a standard sloped 12" sub box that due its height needs to laydown in boot and i placed it near petrol tank, to me sounds great works a treat, just to fit it down dont really want to drill holes in bodywork either.
Best I did was a bit of wood wedged between board and parcel shelf and screwed to sub box worked a bit better but the whole lot still clangs about over bumps ahhh!

Velcro!
That would work i guess to hold box to board, but then it all still jump about, might just need to screw it down or something lol or buy a proper boot lining kit i guess!

None of the pre-made off the shelf boot board kits have means of permanently attaching them.
The best way I can think of (similar to the old cooer s) is having the rear section side into some u channel mounted to the rear seat back. Then some heavy-duty brackets near the boot opening for the board to be bolt down to.

yeah i guess need some sort of screw fixings to be secure properly, will need to see where best really as dont want to screw in to wrong bit lol!! thinking some thing to seat back and then maybe small legs
near edge of boot lid bolted to boot floor or something then the sub box can be fixed to the board with angle brackets etc.
