Ok, so my Mini will be coming home from the paint and engine shop next week, so time to make an order on the things I don't have. The original flares are junk so I need to order some new ones.

Its my understanding the original tyres are 12 x 4.5.

I'm running 12 x 5's now. Here is the set I have about to go on the car:

What size flares/arches will look best with these? OEM or bigger? Link me? Pictures? Cheers!

Beware of offset on your wheels. You may need to cut some wing away and/or fit adjustarides.

I went from 12x4.5 to 12x5, and cut away some wing to fit my W&P arches.

But, because of the offset of the new wheels, the tyres ripped the new arch out of the wing when I hit a pothole on a tight corner. I fitted adjustarides soon after....

thanks for the comments. offset is unknown.

sorry about the error. if one were to search on minispares "WHEELPACKAGE1" the set i got would come up...

they are 5x12 Minilife wheels and 165/60/12 falken tyres. i figured the OEM arches would probably fit but need to order new ones anyway and wanted to be sure before placing an order. if a little trimming needs to be done, thats fine.

anyone know of the offset of this set? OEM arches still a safe bet for the 1/2 inch increase in tyres? they are the low profile types, if that matters. thanks!
