Here's the mini below when I first bought it in March 2005. A 1981 Mini 1000. Bought for £430 from Hayes nr. London. 86k on the Clock; 14 previous owners.

I drove it for 9 months until December 2008 then it failed its MOT. It was off the road for 18 months and returned to the road in July 2010. It was on the road for around 3 months this year but the paints going, rust is showing and I want it to be MY project once again so its of the road ready for its restoration. I've already started ripping it apart but I'll add the pics later on when i get the time.
The aim is to get the body work sorted, new engine (already bought a 1275cc), upgraded suspension, new brakes and for it to be roadworthy by L2B 2011. Then use it over the summer as a rolling project, then back in the garage for next winter to carry on with the full resto.
