Looking at the picture the police are probably right and she's been weighed in.
I'd check the local scrappies as most take registration numbers of the trucks and the scrap motor
and the address of the driver.
Granted the name and address may be false but its worth the ask.

I agree whole heartedly with toyboy396.

The whole purpose of this forum is to share our enjoyment of Mini's not air ones mis guided prejudices. I hope samperks will reconsider his remarks and apologise.

Can we all concentrate on the topic of the post in an effort to encourage all genders, races, and sexual orientations help someone find their pride and joy. Alienating large sections of our society will get us nowhere !!

Can I suggest certain members refresh themselves with the mini forum rules and regs , particularly the following ( taken directly from the rules and regs page )

ive personal worked on this mini


the boot lid is full of lights like xtra reverse and brake lights
its an 850 and dont running times out
its got over spray everywhere inside the car

and drivers side front floor pan has been jacked up and pushed in.

theres a mini breakers near me, i might enquire about mk1 parts/shell and see if they come up with anything, as they said they were due several minis to break in the next few weeks (this being said about 2-3 weeks ago)

At the moment no such vehicle has been offered and our unit is in Wellingborough so pretty close to this one.

THE VEHICLE THAT TOOK HER WAS A PROPER LOW LOADER TYPE VEHICLE WITH A DARK COLOURED CAB YET SILVER/GREY REAR - IT HAD MANUAL RAMPS AND A WINCH


Dark coloured cab, could be blue, black green or a host of other colours, however I have seen a blue colour cabbed vehicle in the area recently with a silver back and I would say manual ramps as they where stowed away, will keep you informed if I see it again.
