The Robin Hood Mini Club are going on a run to the Tan Hill Inn Swaledale North Yorkshire.
This run is open to all Minis Classic & BMW and other Mini clubs are welcome to join us
Tan Hill Inn is the Highest Pub in Great Britain and was made famous in the 1970s by an advert for Everest Double Glazing featuring Ted Moult and his feather.
A feather and a photo of Ted are still to this day next to the window. featured in the advert.[/size]

Arrive A1/M62 Ferrybridge Motorway Services, Knottingley 10.00
Depart 10.30
Arrive Scotch Corner Services A1(M) 11.45

Open to all Minis & MINIS

If your Mini is off the road at the moment you are welcome to come in a non Mini & join the convoy at the back.

There will be free tea coffee & cakes at the Scotch Corner meeting point.

If you do not want to drink out of a paper cup you are welcome to bring your own mug

The reason we like to offer free drinks & cakes on our runs is it brings everybody together for a drink and natter
its easer to get to know people that way sooner than walking up to them as they are stood next to their mini with friends.
It helps break the ice.
Yes it is the services on the A1/A66 Junction.

The Pub has put on a special reduced price Menue for our event
You must book in direct with the pub with your food selection on 01833628246 & quote Robin Hood Mini Club on the 20th Feb to ensure a meal and to get the reduced price.
You can turn up on the day with out booking a meal but they may have sold out of some meals and you will have to pay the full price.

Roast Beef Sunday Dinner £6.50
Giant Yorkshire Pudding filled with Tan Hill Sausages £6
Beef Lasagane £6
Veggie Lasagane £6
Scampie £6
Giant Tan Hill Burger (not for the faint hearted the landlady called it the fat ******* meal ) £8

i went to donna nook with them last year got a very warm welcome on arrival at ollerton and this lasted through out the hole day( they even rang the pub and booked us two extra plases for sunday lunch) the wife forgot to but she cant multi-task like me
and i can comferm you do get tea & cakes

It was good to meet you both on the Donna Nook paul i hope you can join us on the 20th
did you get the leaking heater eliment sorted ?
If i remember right that was your excuse for your steamed up windows l :(
we thought you two had been parked up some where quiet before meeting up with us :P
