A couple of litres should do. The cooling system holds about 3 1/2L & a third to a half mix is best.
It's forecast minus silly for the beginning of next week 'n those A series blocks are getting rarer, if you don't know when yours was last changed get it done - it doesn't last forever.

Too much, antifreeze has a shelf life. Buy a couple of litres (not ready mix); flush the system, pour about 3/4 in then top up with water - don't forget to refit the hoses
. You can then fill the bottle with water 'n keep it for top ups.
Since antifreeze is also a corrosion inhibitor, your cast iron A Series should be well dosed all year round. It's principally to keep the rust at bay that it needs changing, the side of the bottle will tell you when.

So 2.5 litres is enough put 2 litres in top rest up and keep the 500 ml top up the bottle and keep in car for top ups

should be good enough!.... a 50 50 ratio is good for something like minus 30 i believe so thats plenty, however too much is just as bad as too little so bare that in mind
