Sure ive seen it done before in a mini.... look smarter (and more comfortable!) than bucket seats. Ive seen seat brackets on ebay for bucket seats for minis, would they be a direct fit to the seats or is a hammer needed to make fit?

you will need to look at the underneath of the seats to see how they can be secured. Then make a frame to fix them to your car.

Highly unlikely that you can just buy a specific frame from ebay.

you can buy a universal seat fitting kit that consists of the pair of runners that are adjustable, i used them but i mounted them behind the cross member and bolted them through the rear floorpan. they are in the same position as the original seats, just dont tilt.

scooby seats are cheap and plentyfull too, dont look too bad either!

Yes Porsche seats should fit, depending what model they are from. Any 924 944 or pre 89 911 seats should fit I know as I have a 911 and a 944 and a Mini and all have the same recaro seats fitted! the bottom of the Porsche seat ( the runner ) is held on with 4 litlle allen head bolts and fit directly to Cobra and Recaro sub frames.
