Hi there everyone just want to see if anyone wants to join a list for a heavy duty stainless steel steering column drop bracket. Basically TomKidd on turbo minis sells them but he sells them cheaper than the shops as he is the shops supplier. These things are the dogs dangly bits but he said he won't produce them unless he gets a minimum of 5 orders 1 of corse would be mine.

Here is a picture of one:

If anyone else is interested just add your name to a list?

How much are they?

They are £35 plus P&P
but to be honest its worth it. Reasons being you could buy a million of the other chrome crapo ones from any mini retailer and they will always bend, move, rust and generally fail! or you could by a really good one that is well manufactured, won't rust, retains a sturdy position and lower which means will provide a less upright driving position and looks fantastic

what is the length of the arm, or how much does it lower it from the bottom of the dash? this could save me some fabrication as I need to mount mine quite low.
