now ive read some bad reviews on the 6x10 miator wheels from midland wheels, but im looking at the 5x10. are they ok or should all of the wheels that midland wheels sell be avoided like the plague.

it seems to be all wheels

although with 10's there's also the problem of fitting tyres

I got my 10'' mws minilites fitted with new tyres a couple months ago, by a professional tyre fitter, they came back in one piece. But he couldent do them on the van as they are too small for the machine. Most 10'' wheels are a nightmare to remove/re-fit anyway.

We bought 6x10 Minator rims for Project Erm. Due to the tyres we had fitted 165's they can be fitted on the standard tyre fitting equipment found at most garages but inflation is a different matter, however my local tyre fitters had a hand held reservoir with a large flat nozzle which when aimed into the tyre inflates the tyre with a bang. Job done and no damage anywhere.

If the rims are being damaged then surely the blame rests entirely at the fitters feet??

Well i've just fitted a new set of 10x5 minantors and can't fault them! Tyres fitted on them by a local fitter and he had no complaints, seem to be holding pressure aswell!

what size tyres should i ideally fit to them, ive got 4 new 145/80/10 tyres at work. would they be alright to use on 5" wheels, im guessing so since theyre what on my 4.5" steels.

I've just bought a set of Revolites from MWS and can't fault the quality of service or the wheels/tyres yet, although the car's not on the road yet so time will tell.
