Why do you want them? I have them in my spi and have never used them.

As far i know the self-levelling motors and stuff are part of the later headlamp bowls.

they aren't self levelling. they adjust via a switch on the dash.

yes you'll need new buckets. Standard lamps should fit in them to give you options.

You'll also need the switch itself, and to add the wiring system in to make them function.

I find it peculiar that they are called self levelling though, self as in yourself!

definately not self levelling no. That would require some sort of electronic sensor system which the mini doesn't have.

the bucket is a complete mechanism... bucket, motor, etc as far as the metal backing plate to which the headlamp itself fits.

the lovely quirks of misusing the English language...

Just rig it up so you hang a pendulum type thing from the roller switch you use to level them (and hide it behind the dash), then they will be self levelling if you set it up right...

You'll also need to cut a notch into the wing, at the bottom of the circle for the headlight - As the motor needs to fit.

why not go the whole hog and set it up on a gimbal? I'm surprised no major auto manufacturer has done it reliably in such a cheap way. Oh hang on... no i'm not!

Headlights are a safety system for both you and other drivers. They can also be a major hazard if fitted incorrectly. I understand you're trying to help, but please, it's dangerous.
