hello,

it might be a strange question but where looking to get insurance for our caravan that is on the isle of wight.

but as we live in belguim this is not that easy,
we can`t get it in belguim as its in the uk.
but where can we get one in the uk as person living in belguim, thought somebody of you guys might know a good idea.

If you have a family friend in UK they could cover it for you.If you pay them first and trust them. :-

I live on the IoW, you could pay me the insurance money if you like? My calculations work it out as a small monthly sum of 5k. Pay pal or send cash in the post? :-

Calman you could make a deal and have a Holiday share maybe and you would also be able to keep a check on it for them,you might get a few insurance deals etc. from others abroad and do very well,also being on the Web you could send reports and pictures of there property so they know all is well.

we have friends on the island..

and where thinking that might be the easisest solution to get it insured...

but i find it the most strange thing as we all live in the EU and you can't insure anything that isn't in your country of residence...

It is strange best to get your friend to cover.Try a boat trip to Monks island they are strange also. :-
