Hi Zoe and welcome to TMF!
Nice MINI :-
I have a 2002 MINI One and it does not have an aux socket on factory radio/cd as far as I know................I don't think the earlier Mk1/1st Gen MINI's ever did as standard, only later Mk2's 2007 onwards?
Although TMF is a mainly classic Mini forum there are many members here on TMF who may be able to help, you can also try the TotalMini.com forum which has many New MINI 'experts' who will also be able to advise.

Does it have a cd player or tape?

It taps into the wiring behind the radio but on different ages the connecter is different.

Its the CTVBMX002 on that link that i have for sale. http://www.connects2...c...4&modID=790
