I've got this one

http://www.machinema...pe-flaring-tool

It can be a bit fiddley to use but its not bad at all really for the price.

It can only be used on the copper pipes though, steel ones feck em right up!!

This little Moprod tool works very well, even to flare pipe on the car. Alas your only chance of finding one is fleabay now.

The really cheap Sealy flaring tools seem to struggle to make a decent job of it, I broke one and the replacement, will not grip the pipe well.

One of the tool websites had a set that works like ratchet crimps and seems better it is also possible to flare pipes on the car insitu. But again would not manage original steel pipe.

Luckily I managed to borrow a proper workshop flaring tool off a mate last time I had a few to do. It is night and day to the DIY sets. And no leaks at all.

Frost do a pro one which is not too dear, if you have a full car build and might do more in the future it's well worth investing, or get a set ready made from mini spares. Easiest by far!
