The last few nights when driving the indicators are flashing twice as slow and sometimes not at all but staying constantly on.
It only seems to be at night so I thought maybe it was because of the lights being on but that's not the case as I tried the indicators in the day with the lights on and it was fine !
Maybe something to do with the cold ?
I shall change the indicator relay when I can get to a car shop but wondered if anyone had any ideas what it could be ??
P.s the hazards work fine at all times
Thanks again

Probably means that your indicator flasher is shot. The indicators and Hazards each have a different flasher. Check your bulbs as well to make sure that they all work- a burned out bulb will cause the flasher to change speed but if your hazards work fine then it is probably not a bulb.

do they speed up with more revs ?

The current flowing through the flasher heats it up (bimetallic strip) to make it flash. Too much and it flashes quicker too little and it's slow. If both sides are the same then it suggests the flasher unit or the wiring somewhere before the column switch.
