Ive joined the forum as im thinking about getting a Mini as my first car. I turn 17 in January and have always loved the old Mini's and besides, insurance for a modern car starts anywhere around £2750... Third Party!
Thanks, Tom.

Hi Tom
Welcome, and good decision! You'll get plenty of useful advice here and there also seem to be quite a lot of people who know where to go for the best insurance deals for young drivers.

"Its not any cheaper to insure a mini then a morden car. One of my cars is a little 998 mini, and i can insure a 1.4 corsa for less."
My insurance will be 780 when i've passed my test. 3000+ on modern cars.

Hello Tom - How strange is that!
Can i ask - Are you going 3rd party and with which company?
Cheers.
Ps - i struggle typing and usuallymake silly mistakes as my Parrot has tortured my laptop keyboard and its a pain in the rear to type.
