Best Place To Sell My Mini?

If I were to sell it privately (on ebay) then my worry would be that someone would drive it away and something would break within a week after purchasing (as it inevitably will do) and then I could be in legal trouble etc.
What is usually the best course of action with these cars? Are there any mini specialists in the Wiltshire area who would be willing to take it off my hands for a reasonable price?

personally i would sell privately you will get more than giving it to a garage and with a private sale its sold as seen so you dont have any legal responsibility just be honest about the car when they pay the cash over write them a reciept and write sold as seen on it and that will do if something breaks its then there fault mateI have decided to sell my 1990 998cc Mini. However, I am unsure as to my best course of action. The car is in fairly good condition but would require some work (Headlights need to be re-wired, engine tuned and speedo cable attached) I have been told that the best thing to do would be to part exchange the car (for a polo). However, many normal traders seem reluctant to take the car on and will offer me very little for it.

I would make sure you had two copies of the receipt. Seller and buyer sign both and you keep a copy.
