hi, im looking at replacing the rear speakers on my car as they are past their best. they are the standard parcel shelf speakers. i dont plan on any further sound system mods.
can anyone advise what i should be looking for?
ideally they should fit straight in, give a nice sound quality and not cost the earth. i would consider a good second hand pair, but really have no idea where to start or what to look for when it comes to speakers.
i was thinking along the lines of jvc, kenwood etc, but would like a bit more input before i spend my cash
many thanks
Dan

hi Dan, after some research to get right size without bodging holes any bigger!!
I got a kenwood setup, KFC X172 in rear, KFC X132 in front door pockets
KAC 8404 amp
I will double check with boxes in shed tomorrow just to make sure,
Sounds ok, but not tinkered with it properly yet (just finishing of cylinder head project)
Thanks
Scott

Depends on what your budget is?
As a basic speaker i'm a fan of FLI, made by Vibe and a very good alround budget spaeker.
I have used a couple of there FLI intergrator 5" speakers before and there more than adequate for a standard system.
