My mini seems to be falling apart. I took the rear bumper off to give it a good clean, in the process shearing the rusty bolts off which means i need a new rear bumper! Also found a load of rust on the rear valence that ive got to deal with. Started changing my shocks and the mount is buggered by a previous owner!! :) Mistreated minis drive me nuts!! So, whilst my car is up on axle stands have decided to clean a few bits up. After taking the wheels off the old rusty calipers were revealed! So i was just wondering if people think that brushing the calipers, or masking up and spraying will be the better options?! Feel like Ive lost the enthusiasm for my mini atm! few dinks in the bodywork to sort out aswell (sigh) :) Seams to be that whenever i offer ruby shiny new parts she turns into a right b***h! :gimme:

Yeah tell me about it! I bought her some nice adjustable spax, nice new interior (my pic) and does this to me! Trouble is this is my everyday car,and ive only got until the 4th to sort it outt :\. Dont want to start taking it aprt either, ive had a good look around the interior seals e.c.t and only seems to be minor surface rust that ill sort out with a bit of sandblasting, filling proofing and hammerite! Any ideas with regards to painting the calipers? Thanks!
