I was also thinking of doing the same thing as I have a BRG mini as well.

When I get around to it I will probably paint them red to match the engine ( although it does need a clean :D )

I would possibly say white to contrast with the roof of your car but they would get dirty very quickly so maybe the boring option of black? Regards Blue

Yeah white would look nice, altough I am thinking of when I have the money, getting some white superlights. Even they would be a b4stid to keep clean!

I think if you want them to stand out just go for what you want but you will probably have to spend extra time keeping it clean in comparison to as you say black.

As for the type of paint in the OP I don't know a brand but definatly choose one that can stand heat as the calipers will get hot.

i was thing of red but then i realised that it wont realy go well with green and white. but white sounds interesting, just have to spray them with the pressure washer every now and then. if i dont like em after paint, can always respray. a friend told me that "Hammerite smooth" paint work well and he used it on his calipers, and have tried it on my engine a few months ago and still looks freshly painted.

mine are red. and i used the red engine paint i had left over from the engine obviously.
looks really good i think. even tho the body is red aswell it still seems to set off against the wheels.

i havnt got a picture unfortunately.

i would say go for something that isnt to garish, and not tooo much of a contrast.
my friend has a black mini with yellow brakes, that looks really good.
i think i would just go with green if it was me.

i think any colour would work. as they are 'shielded' by the wheels the colour will look cool whatever it is! its your car and you can paint em back so just jump in and go with it. make sure you don't get paint on the inside bits though ;)

Personally, satin black for me, I'm not really a fan of painted drums and callipers.

RED!!...of course!!...... Painting your engine block red makes the car go faster & painting your drums/calipers red therefore makes the car stop quicker, it's a well known scientific fact that has been discussed here many times!! ;)

Im not into painted callipers as such, but when I got my Copper S's I wanted to put something on them so gave them a coat of smooth black hammerite. 3 years later its still good.

;)
