Hi all,
I have a 1996 spi cooper and last week it refused to start. She has a spark, she is getting fuel, the batterys been charged. the starter motor turns and occasionally she sounds like one cylinder is trying to fire. Does anyone have any ideas what to try next? I dont have the cash to replace any parts that i dont absolutly have to. I have just put a new dizzy cap on and cleaned the plugs and still nothing. for a while she has been running a bit wierd for the first 10 minutes and i was told this was the stepper motor, is it likely that could be the problem? the mini is used daily and my 20mile comute is hard on a push bike so any advice would be welcome. cheers.
