Hi all planning on a revamp of my bootlid, currently it has a boot mounted reverse lamp, a chrome numberplate lamp holder and a Van style boot handle. What i`m looking to do is get rid of the lot and keep the numberplate in the normal place but use bolt type lights. The thing is the boothandle will spoil the line of the lid,and i want something different,i`ve looked at pins but the locking types have a large washer which i don`t like. What else is there availible?Picture would be great any idea`s welcome.
Cheers Pete,

I had carbon discs made up to hide my lockable pins on my carbon boot lid. I suppose you could paint metal discs body colour?

why not fit a latch on the inside from a newer car and fit a boot popper so you have nothing on the outside.

Drill a hole in the panel above the latch, take the latch out of the lid, padlock them together

or remove the lock and tie the boot shut with a bit of string  nah only joking, what about a bonnet type catch? that will lock the bootlid and you can set up a internal release like you would do if you had an internal release bonnet, only thing with that though would be the spring, it would fling the bootlid open so anyone behind would have to wear shin and knee pads or suffer the consequenses!
