Well my first car @17 was a 79 Min that was brown, no MOT no tax and had had a fire in the engine bay.

My Dad bought it for me @£120 and I did it up that year and blew the pistom rings before I passed my test. Rebuilt and resprayed it by hand.

Second car was a 85 Min city that was red )

Now my 8th car is again a mini (now 28 YrsO)

1982 HL 998cc Mini Originally

Now -
1380cc Fast Road cam, some dudey alloy rockers (so the guy kept going on about)
Oil cooler
Uprated Metro master cylinder
10" turbo discs with four pot calipers.
Minifins
HiLo's, Spax, Koni.
Both subframes replaced.
Walnut Dash
Cobra seats.
Resprayed white/Tahiti

Minilites 13x6

Did have twin SU carbs, now running a single 1 1/2 " carb and a roling road print out of 91bhp from Minispeed.

Sweet )

These pics are only off my phone but they give you an idea.

Plans...

Um, make it a bit more plush inside and then just drive it for a bit to see what would be nice to do. If I had a silly wisj list I think a 5 speed box would be good.

As it is I can spin the wheels quite easily in second so it seems a bit silly thinking of adding more power.

I am seriously thinking of getting a quiter exhaust unfortunately. And I am having 4 Yokohama A539's being fitted at lunchtime.
