You 2 do realise doing an engine swap, its not all for gaining power reasons.
The honda engine b16 or b what ever, is only the best way to go if it is what you want from the engine. It is one of the most expensive engine conversions too, so not often a vaiable option for most owners

G4HG
The G4HG is a 1.1 L (1086 cc) version with a 67 mm bore and 77 mm stroke. Output is 64 hp (48 kW) at 5500 rpm and 9.6 kgf·m (94 N·m) at 3000 rpm. This engine has been used in Hyundai's newer Santro Xing cars.

Havnt seen one fitted in a mini, but would make a reliable alternative the a-series

The a-series can be reliable. 90% of my issues have been either ignition related. Easily sorted with a mappable ignition setup.

Anyhow. 14.6 over a quarter. who needs a valver?

How much money have you thrown into that? this is the other gain of an engine swap.
A standard 1.4 k series engine swap can do simular times too and cost under £1k
