Have found that how far you push the probe up the exhaust makes a difference so I have a piece of tape to show how far.

had one for about 3 yrs, we've got 4 mini's between our family so is great for emmisions testing. Seems pretty accurate MOT readings are normally same .

Don't worry about the rattling noise, it uses the exhaust gas pressure to power a diaphragm pump in the unit. Take a while to let the unit find an 02 baseline before ramming it up your tailpipe (so to speak

Oh, and if you can't get the rev counter working even though your sure you've got it on the correct coil terminal .. try the other one

The distance seems to change depending on exhaust, my sisters as a big bore centre rc40, and I find how much I insert the probe is different to my maniflow center exit.
I set mine based on an MOT reading it had just got.
