Heya peeps! i got ne first mini at the weekend, bit of a project...it only runs on 3cylinders...so towed it home,apparently its probly the headgasket? does this sound rite? its also meant to be juddery in 3rd.

I need a new rear valence and some attention to boot floor as well as the engine bits i mentioned...and i want to sell the cobra buckets and mountney wheel...but not bad for 300quid...spare alloy,genuine cooper grille and wheels

That looks pretty good for the money..
I would tackle the head gasket, and probably worth getting an unleaded conversion while the head is off, cost £100 done..!!, thats probably the cause of the 3rd gear stutter too
Rear valance is a breeze.... and the older minis tend to be much better condition for their age because of the thicker and better quality metal that was used to build them..
A good start to the world of minis...
