Has anybody got any pictures of mx5 seats fitted into a mini? my friend is getting rid of his ones and im interested, just want to see what they will be like.

Hope they are from a jap import.....they have speakers built into the headrests!

ummm dnt think they are to be honest :S i think its the uk spec ones he cant afford insurance on a jap import eunos, considering it is a drift converted mx5 after all

why don't you take the seats out of the mx5 and sit them in your car and have a look 1st hand with you sitting in them, to get a better feel for them

they'll definitely fit i'm sure, and they're quite thin so probably fit well too. Are they leather or anything interesting?

They do fit (very well) i've got some to go in mine, i havn't fabricated my mounting brackets yet but i have trial fitted them and they fit a treat without fouling the rear bins (i'm six foot). If i get my finger out and get them fitted i'll get some pics on the seat thread. In fact if i remember rightly theres a seat thread on here where someones fitted red leather ones??

im liking, what are they like simon? are they the eunos ones or uk spec ones?

If anyone has a Perfect DRIVERs Side one of this exact Mx5 Seat (separate headrest) I'll give them a small amount of cash for it (ours is frayed in the usual place)

Mind you ours isn't in a mini. It's in a 1996 Mk1 mx5.

i dont have them in the car any more, i sold them to a french fella on here for £20.

they where mounted on the mx5 frames and bolted through the floor. they where well comfortable and pushed right back giving loads of legroom.
but they had to go, i think mini seats just looks better in minis
