Presumably this is the honda D series instead of the k series as you asked in the honda section. I'm planning the same d series engine swap in my cooperhi everyone i have a rover coupe with a low miles 1.6 engine on an m reg not sure of the code but i was wondering if this would fit into my mini mayfair and what would be needed? many thanks!!
Bulk head needs modifying to accomodate the inlet, unless you fit a different inlet of course.
Rover K series more or less falls in

Nothing wrong with k series, the owner is the main problemfalls in then blows a head gasket.. lol.. go vtec.. theres no point in doing a conversion for reliability and putting in a rover k series.

Reliabilty isn't a problem if there looked after correctly!
Such a crap engine they decided to fit them in elises, caterhams and atoms.

Any engine is reliable, unfortunately the owners aren't, change the gasket and what nots at the start of the build and job done
