metro brake master cylinder

Just been offered a master cylinder from a 1990 metro non servo type, will this fit on a late type mini???

I cant see why not as long as the stud spacing is the same??!!

How much??

I will see if I have got 2 masters at my mums on Monday, if so, you can have the spare one.

The metro brake system is a bi function system, ie it has two feeds to the front wheel, one to act as a backup, so you would have to replace the entire brake system and converto metro calipers...

so basically, no...
