Although having just said that, looking at the first and last pic you just posted the light bar actually looks decent on your mini.

Really nice mini.

Thanks!!

Change of plan with the above, now going to running 100+ alloys, still wrapped in A008s.

The engine bits have also gone away to my engine builder, so hopefully it'll be soon ready to bolt it :shifty:

Update, from the depths of the forum
Posted Image
As it was when I got to Manea, and I had I take a couple of donors for bits, as you can see what's missing.
Posted Image
We then lifted it onto the seat, to bolt the last few bits on it.
Posted Image
Finished article in the back of the container whilst waiting for a bit sunnier weather so I can bolt it in. I still need to get a couple of bits like carbs and some suspension bits.

Love it Spud.

May I ask where you got your Fog and Reverse lights from? and hows the reverse light wired in?

Cheers Noah!

The reverse light is wired to original loom, but I extended the wires down to the lamp

But I rang them to make sure they were a matching pair

Okay cool thanks, so essentially I'm just using the wiring loom from the Mk4 lights.

Moving it into the Mk2 lights and extending it down into that. Should be fine. I did electronics. LOL

Erm, 1293, 276 (or similar) double valve springs, work done to the head, block decked to the level of the pistons, I've got megajolt to put on it too. Probably more which I can't remember

Hopefully! And it's got a bit more of a cruiser diff with a 3.1, and when it gets put together it'll have some better shocks so we wont be scrubbing all the way.

Not far of the spec of my engine spud! Will be great to know how well yours goes. Not sure what to do on the carb side of things though. Would love to stick some bike carbs on it.

I'm thinking about a set of twin hs4s, as it'll keep with the retrot look. Did also have a think about chucking a downdraft weber on it.
