Cheers mate. I hope to get the last few bits for my suspension at Bingley, then I'll just need to get some tyres and bolt it all together

Went to Specialist Components on my way home from work to get my trigger wheel and sensor bracket for my megajolt. It really is very nice stuff!

That is a problem I face with Dsns retrosport range >_<

Update time, this is my Bingley haul (I thought I'd jump on the band wagon ;D)
Last bits for my suspension, that's -1.5• bottom arms, adjustable tie bars, poly bushes for both, all for £70 after a bit of haggling. Also got a set of twin hs4s and a rebuild kit from them. Then I got a pair of engine mounts, which I thought I'd change for longevity when the engines being changed and finally a transfer case breather as the one I got on my lump got with my servo. Then yesterday I went to the local breakers and got an edis 4 module and a leccy fan, this is from a mg zr but ill make it fit.
Picture time ;D

Dropped my wheels off at my Dads friends to see if his shot blaster will be suitable, as he only has grit not media. We shall see when he gets a chance. Posted Image

Wheels still aren't back >_<

Made a small bit of progress yesterday though, as I got it out of the container and started to change the engine, as I've got a spot on a club stand for Brooklands.

I started by taking the bonnet off

Then I put a cover over the wing so it doesn't get scratched.

And this is how I left it, after taking the servo/master cylinder, horn, grille and spot lights and some wiring

Today's progress, took everything else off which was connected to the heart. Including standard peashooter, starter, speedo cable, then popped the ball joints and the shafts popped out quite easily. Put when I was playing with the ball joints. I noticed my calipers have been rubbing on my discs. They're Minispares 7.5" set up and all of the bolts were right to undo but are the holes in the caliper slightly bigger so I didn't slide it over enough? We shall see when it goes back together.

This how I finished tonight, with the top engine steady, master cylinder, coil (got this on so I know it won't kill itself on first start up with the megajolt), alternator, fan and belt, LCB and the horn.

Oops, just realised that my post didn't post earlier. The new engine is in, if you didn't guess. Old in, new out
