how much around a bout would it cost to insure a mini with a turbo ?

av nt realy sed much but thats what a want to no lol

Your best off runging a few insurance companies and asking them. You'll just get a load of people telling you how much they pay, but they aren't you and all insurance is based the individual!

I rang up the other day to get a quote on Dilly, they said they wouldnt be competitive til i was 19, so being 18, that means theyre useless :) The higher end of 2k they wanted... Whereas tesco agreed £2400, although still daftly expensive, and only third party, its only for a year! :wink:

So there is some benefit to being old(er)

I remember a few years ago getting a quote for a standard k reg cooper (1st time driver) and the AA wanted £1700 FC. Oh how i laughed :huh:

I pay about 650 for my injection and thats on third party with Hic they did say it would be another 100 ontop of that if i choose to go turbo im 22 and 1yrs ncb on my mini, im going with carb because its its cheaper. direct line wanted 1100 before :cry: :thumbsup: so choose what you can and cant afford to do.

I pay £750/yr TPO, I'm 22 with no no claims and 10 points (i know, I know)

keep hunting round.

if it's 1986 or before try footman james based in the midlands, their Classic policies are really good.
